    In this class, I hope to learn about the ways that teachers use technology in the classroom. There are so many applications out there, and I hope that this class can scope out the most effective ones that teachers should use. Especially with the growing influence of technology, I think that this class is important for future educators, like myself, to be able to familiarize themselves with important technologies that can be utilized in the classroom. I am excited to be able to apply what I learn in this class when I am an educator in four years!

    Using technology in an educational setting is something that I believe almost every person does nowadays. Whether it is using a phone for communicating with classmates, or a laptop to type and complete assignments, technology is everywhere in classrooms today. Personally, I love to take advantage of my technologies during academic times because of the efficiency of it. Being able to reach professors immediately, submit assignments, and find previous course resources all in one place is extremely beneficial. Although, the real-time educational world has its downsides of creating an environment where students, including myself, are constantly on their technologies.

    The things that I like to learn about are the things that I am interested in. For example, I want to be an elementary school teacher after college, and learning about how to do that is very fascinating to me. Additionally, being able to learn more about my hobbies, like painting, is nice, as well. Regularly, I use my laptop to utilize the internet to learn about the things I like. I prefer that over using physical books because I have become accustomed to using technology for many things, but sometimes I like to learn things hands-on, too.

    Hi Jenna! I also hope to learn about the many resources in the digital technology word that will help with my future career in elementary education! I think learning about this is so important especially with the rise in technology in this day and age. I personally use technology to communicate with my classmates and teachers, as well as taking notes and keeping track with my assignments. I think your PLN is super interesting and I think its great that you have so many hobbies and interests that sound fun!

    Hey Jenna! Our goals for this class are very similar. I also would like to be an elementary school teacher so learning about technology that is useful in classrooms is so important. Technology is so efficient and allows us all to communicate with others with similar interests and goals as well as gain more knowledge. I can't wait to read your future posts and follow you on your journey to being an elementary educator.

     As my time as a student, MS Word has been something that I've consistently utilized for many things. I desperately prefer MS Word over things like Notepad or Google Docs because of the features that MS Word offers.       Blogging is something that I never thought I would do. However, it has been very interesting to see how easy it is to do, and how functional it is because everything is easily accessible and in one place. There's nothing that I can think of about how I don't like blogging, it's nice and easy! Something that I have learned during the blogging process so far is that it can be easy to go back and edit a published blog. This helps me to not worry about if I made any mistakes on my blog because I can always fix it.     A Web 2.0 tool that I can use as a teacher is YouTube ( https://www.youtube.com/).
